SYSTRA Enters Top Ten International Design Firms in Transport
SYSTRA now ranks among the Top 10 international design firms in transport
Announced in July by the US magazine Engineering News-Record (ENR), this new position, up from number 11 in 2016, confirms the company’s dynamic drive to expand its horizons. This is a broad category comprising airports, bridges, roads, canals, locks, dredging, marine facilities, piers, railroads and tunnels, among others, so it is a real achievement for SYSTRA to enter the top 10.
This ranking is in addition to our number two position in mass transit and rail and number 14 position in bridges among international design firms, by transportation segment, in the December 2016 ENR rankings.
In the 2017 rankings just published, we also held steady at number 42 in the Top 225 International Design Firms; a generalist category that comprises all engineering sectors and market segments.
The ENR rankings, based on annual revenue at home and abroad, are considered the standard measure in the international engineering industry. They seek to bring structure to the construction industry by performing annual surveys of its key segments, and rating companies engaged in general and specialty contracting, engineering, architecture and environmental services, among other disciplines.
