SYSTRA Celebrates 50 Years Supporting UK Transportation Sector
More than 250 guests from across 130 organisations attended the celebration at the iconic London Transport Museum on Thursday, 27 June 2019.
Guest of honour The Rt Hon the Lord Adonis of Camden Town, former Secretary of State for Transport and Chairman of the National Infrastructure Commission, was invited to share his views on the major challenges faced by the UK transportation sector.
He spoke of increasing passenger capacity, developing green transport solutions, improving reliability for the benefit of users and how the industry can work together to help achieve these goals.

SYSTRA are committed to engaging with young people with a view to promote STEM subjects across the UK and Pascal Mercier presented a £3000 donation to Penny Tysoe Projects Director at the Engineering Development Trust (EDT), one of the largest providers of STEM enrichment activities for UK youth. The donation will enable 15 young women become part of the EDT INSPIRE programme, providing an insight into engineering and encouraging a STEM-based career to become the next generation for our industry.
