Sustainable Travel Transition Fund (STTF)
The Sustainable Travel Transition Fund (STTF) was recently announced by the Department for Transport and presents an excellent opportunity to develop projects on sustainable travel, to ensure you are prepared for the upcoming Access Fund announcements (expected this summer) and the Cycling and Walking Investment Strategy.
Local Authority bids must be in by 29th March, and we can help you prepare your bid, or develop a project, once the funding is announced. SYSTRA/JMP have experience in developing and delivering projects that achieve the objectives required by the STTF. Our work across the country includes; writing the Sustainable Transport Plan for Durham, compiling successful funding bids for East Riding and York, and our training of Jobcentre staff in Central Bedfordshire and Somerset in order to provide access to jobs, and on the ground delivery of cycling and walking engagement projects. JMP also has a strong track record in LSTF delivery. We have worked on at least nine large scale LSTF programmes, including Centro (West Midlands), Luton, Stratford, Tyne and Wear, Swindon and St Helens, delivering cycling promotion campaigns, workplace engagement programmes, residential PTP, and social media and web-based campaigns.
